Inibizione cognitiva. L’inibizione è una funzione cognitiva che permette di bloccare risposte impulsive o resistere a stimoli distraenti.
Memoria di lavoro. La memoria di lavoro è una funzione cognitiva che permette di tenere in mente le informazioni legate allo svolgimento di un’attività il tempo necessario per portare a termine l’attività stessa.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. L’Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) è un tipo di psicoterapia definito di terza generazione in cui il paziente è incoraggiato a guardare ai pensieri e alle emozioni negative come parte del normale funzionamento psicologico e ad agire sulla base dei propri obiettivi e dei propri valori.
